Online Shopping Catalogs provides merchant product lists in single-page format. Just click of the store and a product list page opens to a new window (great for tabbed browsers). Use your browser search tool to locate specific product you seek. Then, click link to view more details and purchase if you decide to buy it.A Google bar browser or the excellent Firefox search tool make great loaded page-searching tools. If you are tired of sifting through pages of search results and mostly coming up with irrelevent pages, then you will like having a list of products all on one page. Plus, there is no typing. Anyone can search, including those with limited typing skills or are using a handheld device.
As you can see, this interface is clean and efficient, free of automated pop-ups or excessive images. Product information is from merchant-supplied lists and is formatted for your convenience. It is valid on the date it was downloaded. There may be items out of stock or with changed prices. This is "par for the course" with a static search page that is updated once or twice per year. The merchant will have the most current information of all products listed.
Pages that are less than 700 KB will load as a web page. Those greater than that have been compressed into a zip file. In that case, you must download the zip file and open with your archive software to view your copy of the product catalog. The RugsUSA file is the largest I have in my collection. This format allows for most any connection or computer system to load my files. You can load unzipped HTML pages in any browser while offline. Connect when you are ready to make a purchase or to view more details about the product.
